SEW | Torn & Mended
The main fabric is woven with metallic thread.
It holds its shape, yet yields completely to the wearer.
It moulds to the body, to the habits of a life.
The final form is not ours to decide.
It belongs to whoever lives in it.
The patchwork panels are finished with Xiangyunsha silk.
This is an act of self-creation.
The silhouette of a coat,
defined not by us, but by the person who wears it.
Naturally dyed.
The colours carry a texture all their own.
The high slit.
A deliberate absence.
A wound, left open.
It is also what the process of mending looks like.
GATHER | Bark & Dappled Light
Gather a handful of light and shadow.
Let it rest upon the cloth.
Pure cotton. Fine, soft, breathable.
A patched construction, layer upon layer.
Dyed with botanicals, in uneven hues.
The surface resembles tree bark in sunlight.
Mottled. Warm. Alive.
To wear it is to stand among growing things,
and feel the quiet pull of them reaching upward.
FLUTTER | Black Butterfly in Flight
Like a black butterfly taking wing.
Light. Lifting. Alive.
The fabric is tie-dyed, bound and knotted like a cocoon.
Then released.
A butterfly emerging into beauty.
The structure borrows from the robe of a Chinese wanderer.
Asymmetrical hems. A drape that moves with the body.
It flies toward the bamboo grove,
a dark wing catching the wind.
A Plain Gown, Half a Breath of Wind
A quiet, unassuming white.
With a spine that feels unhurried, at ease.
The openwork collar lets in a sliver of moonlight.
The asymmetrical sleeve catches a passing breeze.
No grand gestures. No loud declarations.
Just a faint, imperfect texture.
A few buttons, slightly off-grid.
And Eastern stillness
becomes something you can wear into the everyday.
A Strand of Black, A Swathe of Green
Hair like ink, falling against the chest.
Green like moss, breaking through the collar.
This vertical stroke of green —
it is the wild pushing through soil,
an emotion finding its way to the surface.
Against the muted gold of the jacquard,
it cuts open a living poem.
One that belongs to the grass, to the woods, to the untamed.
WHITE & GREEN | A Murmur Between Colours
The upper garment, in white.
Like cloud wisps caught in a collar,
crumpled into delicate pleats.
The lower garment, in green.
Like moss spreading over mountain stone,
ancient, subdued markings blooming across the surface.
